The Cathedral front


We are now Opening our Cathedral to the community

weekdays from 11:00am to 2:00pm

for the summer, thanks to our team of docents.

Please come and visit us!

You can view the inside if you’ve never been in our Cathedral before,

and if you’re very lucky, you might hear someone practicing the organ!

If you would like to join the team of docents carrying out this ministry,

welcome visitors to our Cathedral,

please speak with Barbara Burrows or Brenda Voyce.

Full training will be provided.


Between Services


Sunday, from 10:20am to 10:50am, in the Cathedral,

join us for a talk from the book The Pilgrim Program




has been moved to the second Sunday this month ONLY!

It will take place

Please join us then for our service of Choral Evensong.

Thursday lunches are coming back! 

We are planning to serve ‘Thursday Lunches’

from June through to the end of October.

We are asking for volunteers to prepare & serve

a soup & sandwich lunch for 20 to 25 people.

If you are interested,

please sign-up on the poster in the Cathedral Common

for as many dates as you feel you can manage.

Base Camp 2017


Calling all junior high adventure seekers to Base Camp 2017!

This outdoor adventure runs July 10 to 16, 2017, at Dry Island Buffalo Jump Provincial Park in the Alberta Badlands.

Camp is directed by Dr. Mark Armstrong, a family physician with more than 30 years of experience leading camps in the Anglican Diocese of Edmonton. 

Base Campers will have an option to canoe from Red Deer to the camp site and will take in the award-winning Canadian Badlands Passion Play.

The registration deadline is 20 June 2017.

The Anglican Diocese of Edmonton presents

Parishes and all faith communities are invited to a webcast of Trinity Institute’s 46th National Theological Conference “Water Justice.”

Come along to hear from local leaders, as well as renowned activists, scholars, authors, and experts in the water justice movement.

It will take place from 9:00am to 4:00pm
